Rehabilitation classes for young people.

Implementation ofsocial rehabilitation program for young people was started in October, 2015. During these months, 30 young people regularly attended combined circle physiotherapy classes under the supervision of specialists. Participants exercise on a rehabilitation treadmill, veloergometer, vibropilates, as well as Sling therapy’s equipment Redcord, wooden rehabilitation equipment are being used. Physiotherapy’s tiny inventory is also being used- large and small balls, inclined surfaces, sensory mats, balancing wheels and surfaces, flexible rubber and other tools.

In February was set up and passed for approbation a new rehabilitation equipment - feedback system (biofeedback and neurofeedback) Nexus-10 (manufacturer Mind Media B.V., the Netherlands). This method is currently one of widely used methods in the world both used separately and creating a complex methodology with regard to other rehabilitation methods. With the help of this system project participants are learning to control their bodies, for example, posture and gait by using their inner feeling reflecting system on a computer screen. Project participants are drawn up in individual courses which depend on their health status, treatment progress and actual indications.

Project participants also attend hydrotherapy classes in the pool of Olympic Sport Centre, individual and group classes at a psychologist, creative classes.

Young people attend creative classes with a lot of joy and excitement! During the class on December 6, they created Christmas tree decorations and presents (bijou) for close relatives but on February 14- on St. Valentine’s Day- they created themed greetings and felt hearts for their loved ones. Thanks to the group work and artistic actions young people can make contact with peers, maintain self-esteem to selves and society. Creative process encourages arrangement of thoughts and improves concentration skills.
